Do you, your loved ones, or your clients need assistance with appointments, shopping, or going for an enjoyable outing? We believe that helping people remain mobile and encouraging social interaction is at the heart of living life to the full and extremely important for mental health. So much more than a wheelchair taxi, Driving Miss Daisy empowers our clients to live more independently by offering a wide range of services including accompanying customers to and from hospital or doctor’s appointments, assisting with shopping trips, taking pets to vets, facilitating holiday departures, visiting garden centres, or simply going out for a coffee and a chat.

DRIVING MISS DAISY GUILDFORD

Driving Miss Daisy Guildford is a new team based in East Horsley and covers Guildford, Cobham, Oxshott, Leatherhead, Dorking and everywhere in between.

Having spent 35 years in the motorsport industry, I was inspired to start a Driving Miss Daisy team in my community following my personal experiences with family members who suffered from restricted mobility.

Our friendly and patient compnaion driver is happy to provide as much help as is required, whether the journey is local or long-distance. Customers can rest assured that they are in safe hands as our driver is fully licenced by Guildford Borough Council (GBC) having been DBS checked, trained in first-aid, disability and dementia awareness, safeguarding, and wheelchair use.

OUR VEHICLE

We have a Ford Tourneo WAV, which can comfortably transport five passengers seated, plus one passenger in a wheelchair; or seven passengers seated with plenty of space in the rear luggage compartment to take several folded wheelchairs or luggage.
