Previously an operations manager in a removal company for the best part of 30 years; I wanted to do something more worthwhile. After seeing an advert, I felt Driving Miss Daisy would be an excellent opportunity to give something back. I have for several years and still volunteer for National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS), which I find thoroughly rewarding.
At home in Exmouth, I live with my wife Jo, a nurse, and our Labrador Millie; and I like to start each day with Jo, taking Millie for a walk along the beach, which we are lucky enough to do. We have two grown-up sons; the eldest is a primary school teacher in Haywards Heath, the younger one is currently working in Tesco, deciding what he wants to do now he has finished university.
