Hi, I’m Phil. Owner of Driving Miss Daisy Eastbourne. Before starting the Driving & Companionship service, I worked as a Development and Operations Manager at a private school, but decided to change the direction of my career pathway.

I have lived in Eastbourne for approx. Ten years and wanted to give back to my community; I felt the nature and ethos of Driving Miss Daisy would achieve this. The lockdowns of 2020 highlighted the challenges people face with getting transportation to and from medical appointments; and the lack of relatives or companions being able to visit their loved ones; I was keen to help individuals improve their quality of life.

As a keen sportsman, I enjoy various sports, including football and triathlon/ironman events, which keep me busy alongside family life with a wife and two children that are full of energy. If you book with me, you are guaranteed a good time with lots of fun and laughter along the way!
