An excellent experience with Simon, putting me into the wheelchair in Romsey and then driving me 20 miles to Southampton eye unit, taking me from test to test and he was very kind and thoughtful throughout. I got home 3 hours later having not had to get out of my wheelchair. It could not have been a better experience.

Simon Fitzgerald (Romsey) provided an excellent service. He stepped in to help out when I had been let down by another company who cancelled the booking to drive my wheelchair-bound mother from a nursing home in Hampshire to her home in Surrey. He arrived early, was pleasant and extremely helpful, putting my mother at ease. He also helped out when they arrived at her flat. He pushed her wheelchair into her flat, then unloaded all her belongings and moved those in for her too, helping her carer. He also called me to confirm that she was safely back in her home. I would not hesitate to recommend him or the Winchester branch because both of them went out of their way to help when I had been let down by the company recommended by the nursing home.

Excellent Service Having two major family events on successive Saturdays, we decided that using a WAV taxi service would make things much simpler and less stressful than the hassles of parking and loading/unloading me, with my mobility scooter, into our own car. Particularly given that the latter event was my daughter's wedding and we wanted to be on good form, and able to fully enjoy the festivities. After some unproductive enquiries with taxi companies I recalled receiving a flyer from "Driving Miss Daisy" offering a WAV taxi service (with companion), and decided to get in touch with the owner of the local franchise - Simon Fitzgerald. As it turned out, this is where I should have started. From first contact to completion, Simon provided exemplary service for both of our events. He was personable, punctual, efficient and well turned out. I use a 3-wheel mobility scooter, and Simon rapidly came up with a safe way to secure it in his clean and modern WAV. For our "big" event Simon rearranged his personal schedule to ensure that he could personally take us to the wedding in good time, and then picked us up that night - when I was doubly-delighted not to have to drive after a wonderful, but exhausting, day-long event. In summary: I rarely do reviews, but in this case Simon fully deserves an excellent review. And if, like me; there are occasions when a WAV taxi with a helpful driver would make life easier, then I highly recommend contacting him.
