Hi, I’m Louise and I am the Director of this amazing company Driving Miss Daisy Central Hull. I have a 30 year career as a nurse, but I decided to leave the NHS and embrace new challenges and opportunities. I am passionate about instilling confidence, motivation, and enabling patients and families to believe in possibilities, even during challenging times.

My nursing and life experience brings with it extensive skills and knowledge to support people’s journeys and provide reassurance. We offer a bespoke service that can support clients with accessible transport and companionship, therefore we can accompany you to appointments, parties, weddings, funerals, or shopping. We will always bring a smile and take very good care of you. Our mission is to take you or your family member to wherever you want to go, safely & comfortably.

HOW WE CAN HELP?

Driving Miss Daisy Central Hull is more than just a driving service, we enable our clients to live their lives to the fullest and alleviate isolation and loneliness by connecting them with their loved ones and their community. From grocery shopping to holiday trips, the only limit is your imagination.

I can’t recommend Driving Miss Daisy enough! My mum, my sister and I planned our first holiday together in years, the first one with mum in a wheelchair. Louise took all the travelling stress away: came to mums the week before so she could practise getting in and out of the vehicle, helped us set up the mobility equipment in the apartment when we arrived at our destination and made mum feel safe and secure. Not only is Louise one of the most genuinely lovely people you’ll ever meet, she went above and beyond on so many levels and for that we are extremely grateful.

Wow! Louise - you are a star! Thank you so much! You and your lovely Daisy have given my godfather a new lease of life! He’s planning so many little trips now and it’s so lovely to see him being able to get out and about. Would recommend you to absolutely anyone! Keep doing what you’re doing it’s so worth while!

What an amazing service! My dad has Alzheimer's and is not confident to venture too far on his own. As I live in Edinburgh this can be challenging. He does have friends that can support but it's good for him to still do things independently without burdening other people. He benefits massively from being outdoors and Louise is fantastic in quickly identifying what he likes and what his specific needs are. It's also comforting for me to know that he's safe and happy whilst in the care of Louise. I highly recommend this service!

I can't recommend this service enough! We used Driving Miss Daisy for the 1st time today and have already made a 2nd booking. If you need reliable transport to a medical appointment, including waiting with you and transport home; accompanied shopping; a trip to a cafe, the theatre, a day out or even a car picnic - this is the service to use! Thank you Louise. 10/10 for reliability, professionalism & friendliness.

WOW! what can I Say. Louise came to our rescue at the last minute.. my uncle, in his 80s decided that driving 3 hours for Christmas break when his Co pilot (my Auntie )was feeling under weather following a hospital stay was going to be out of the question. Louise... Driving Miss Daisy Central Hull stepped in. not only driving but offering assistance where needed..including assisting with comfort breaks during the journey there and back.. Louise kept me informed also with arrival times and also called once she had settled them back home after the return journey. (she also put the food packs I had made in their freezer, took their case upstairs and checked everywhere out as their house alarm was flashing . having ensured they were happily settled back home Louise called me to say all was well. Both my Auntie and Uncle were full of praise for the service. my uncle said it was such a weight of his shoulders and both were reassured with Louise's calm confident manner.. thank you so much for helping make our Christmas happen. looking forward to seeing you on their next visit.
