In 2017, Nigel founded Driving Miss Daisy Ipswich. Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, we have managed to keep four wheelchair-accessible vehicles on the road most days. The team consists of four companion drivers, two men and two women all who are parents, who have backgrounds in customer service, nursing, and personal fitness training. No working day is ever the same, and we take on several companionship jobs to help combat loneliness in the Ipswich community.

Our customers are encouraged to book at least a week in advance to secure their preferred times, as we are often very busy. We have earned a reputation for providing exceptional care to our customers and treating them like our own friends, giving their loved ones peace of mind, especially those who live far away or are too busy to attend appointments.

We are proud to be dementia-friendly and have a wide range of customers, from 17 to 104 years old.
