My name is Nicki, and together with my husband Scott, we own Driving Miss Daisy Hamilton. We moved to the UK from South Africa in 2020, seeking a change from the corporate world and a chance to make a difference in our local community. We wanted to help people enjoy life to the fullest, and that’s how we found Driving Miss Daisy – a service that we are proud to be part of.

Driving Miss Daisy is much more than a wheelchair-accessible taxi service. Our aim is to provide safe, reliable, and enjoyable outings and companionship to the older generation, vulnerable, and anyone in need of extra help to get out and about. As a care worker in a dementia unit and living far away from my parents, I understand how much it means to have that peace of mind when your loved ones are shown extra care, compassion, and flexibility, and that is what we provide all our clients.

At Driving Miss Daisy, we become family when family can’t be there. We would love to hear from you so we can plan your loved one’s journey, whether it’s a simple coffee outing, grocery trip, medical appointment, or longer-distance travel.
