In 2018, I became the owner of a Driving Miss Daisy Seaton as I always wanted to be self-employed as well as do something worthwhile that positively impacts my community. As soon as I discovered Driving Miss Daisy, I knew it was the perfect fit. My experience in taking care of my elderly parents made me realize how challenging it was for them to remain independent while going out and about. I believed that Driving Miss Daisy would significantly benefit not only them but also others in their situation.

Even after almost four years, I still enjoy being a companion driver because every day is unique. Throughout the week, I accompany my clients to hospital appointments, support them while shopping, provide company on outings, and even just chat over a cup of tea in their homes. I have developed strong friendships with some of my clients over the years, which is very rewarding.

We now have two accessible vehicles and companion drivers, with plans to add a third soon. This means that we can provide companionship and support to more members of our community, which I am very excited about.
