Melanie and Natalie, co-owners of  Driving Miss Daisy Kings Lynn, both had long careers in teaching and were looking for a new challenge that would allow them to give back to their community. They both come from RAF families and have husbands who are frequently away. Living far from their immediate families made it difficult to provide support when their extended relatives needed it. They discovered Driving Miss Daisy, a service they wished they had known about earlier and decided to establish the driving & companionship service in West Norfolk.

They were joined by colleagues from their education careers, and together the team of companion drivers and their wheelchair-accessible vehicles are assisting community members who would otherwise have no support and giving quality of life back to their clients, which has given Natalie and Melanie great personal satisfaction, and pride in their strong reputation.
